Barry Jackson, founder and head caterer of Bliss Flavors, is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. He has been in the catering business for more than 15 years. He was raised by his grandmother, affectionately known as "Aunt Hattie," who is the person that mostly influenced him to become the outstanding caterer that he is today. When he was a boy he worked side by side with her as she prepared meals for some of Texas' most famous politicians and elite families. Some of the family recipes have been enhanced by Barry and are still presented on his menus today. Barry has a unique blend of Southern hospitality and sincere dedication to service which has allowed him to walk in his grandmother's foot steps as he too has prepared meals for some of Texas' most well-known officials. Some of them include Allen Owen, Mayor of the City of Missouri City, State Representative Sylvester Turner, and State Representative Dora Olivo, as well as some of our larger corporations which include Toshiba International, Eco Resources, Reliant Energy, Brown & Root, M.D. Anderson Hospital, Chase Bank, the City of Houston, Houston ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Metro Transit Authority, to name a few. Bliss Flavors also catered the grand opening of the Fort Bend County toll road and was shown on the local evening news. Bliss Flavors has served many local non-profit organizations as well.
